Tour de Houston presented by Apache Corporation

Tour de Houston presented by Apache Corporation is a fundraising bike ride that benefits Houston Parks and Recreation Department's RE-Plant Houston Program. The ride will take place on Sunday, April 7, 2024, and is an MS150 recommended ride. This annual event offers Houstonians and visitors a unique way to view the city with bike routes winding through Houston’s historic neighborhoods, scenic districts, and parks. With three ride length options, the Tour de Houston is the perfect event for leisure riders or cycling enthusiasts.

This event begins and ends at Avenida de las Americas at Discovery Green. Riders can also enjoy a post-ride party with music, free food, and beverages.

Event shirts are not included in the price of registration. Shirts are available for $10 and can be purchased during registration. A limited number will be available during packet pickup and on Ride Day.

EVENT INFORMATION:
Sunday, April 7, 2024

6:30 a.m.: Check-in and Registration
7:30 a.m.: 60 Mile Ride*
7:45 a.m.: 40 Mile Ride*
8:00 a.m.: 20 Mile Ride*

*mileage is not exact
No riders will be allowed to leave the Start Line after 8:30 a.m. Please arrive on time. Routes are secured until 1:00 p.m. After that time, riders can hop on the sag wagon or continue the ride without support.

Rider Support
All rest stops will provide water, hydration beverages, fruit, plus sweet and salty snacks. Portalets will be stationed at every rest stop. Sun & Ski Sports will be onsite at Discovery Green and each rest stop to assist with bike needs. Sag wagons will be en route should a rider need a ride back to Discovery Green.

Now - April 6: $45 (13 and older)
April 7 (Ride Day): $50 (13 and older)
Kids 12 and Under: $25 through Ride Day

CASH, CREDIT CARDS, AND CHECKS ARE ACCEPTED ON RIDE DAY.
NOTE: Online registration closes at 8:00 a.m. on April 7, 2024. Walk-up registration will open at 6:30 a.m. on April 7, 2024. The registration tent will be located on Avenidas de las Americas.

The Tour de Houston is a rain or shine event. We will only cancel in the case severe, potentially dangerous weather. Any updates regarding the status of the event will be sent to registered riders via email as well as posted on our social media feeds.

Avenida North Garage This garage is connected to the north end of the George R. Brown Convention Center, as part of Partnership Tower at 701 Avenida de las Americas. Entrances for the garage can be found on both Capitol St. (going north) and Rusk St. (going south). • Less than 1 hr. $14 • 1 to 2 hrs. $22 • 2 to 4 hrs. $28 • Daily Max is $38

Avenida Central Garage Located at 1002 Avenida de las Americas, along Discovery Green, Avenida Central is an underground garage with easy access to Avenida Plaza and Discovery Green. • Less than 1 hr. $10 • 1 to 2 hrs. $20 • 2 to 3 hrs. $25 • Daily Max is $30

Avenida South Garage Connected to the Hilton Americas-Houston hotel and Convention center, Avenida South is located at 1710 Polk St. • Less than 1 hr. $14 • 1 to 2 hrs. $22 • 2 to 4 hrs. $28 • Daily Max is $38

There is free parking available in the Tundra Garage but there is a height restriction. If you travel with your bike on the top of your car, you will need to remove it before entering the garage.
