This year, Emeryville’s Shortest Triathlon Ever heads to the Bay! The race now starts down in the Emeryville Marina in the San Francisco Bay and ends at the Marinas to celebrate Fish Emeryville’s fishing fleet, Watersports and Life on the Water in Emeryville during the Emeryville Day on the Bay party.
The Shortest Triathlon Ever is so short, anyone can do it!
- 100 yd. swim in the SF Bay – 4 lengths of a school pool. Wet suits are recommended.
- 3.5 mi. bike ride around the marina and up to Berkeley and back
- 2.0 mi. run that ends at the Emeryville Day on the Bay event
Fees~
Pre-Registered - Youth 18 & Under $35, Adults 19 and Over $60. Fees increase race day by $5. Emeryville residents receive a $5.00 discount. Proof of address will be required at check-in. Emeryville Unified K-12 student fee is $5. You must identify your
school and teacher. At your successful conclusion of the event, show your student ID and your $5. will be returned. Fees include commemorative T-shirt and great post race refreshments.
Fish Emeryville is sponsoring one free beer for each adult athlete at the Emeryville Day on the Bay Beer Garden.
Awards~
Trophies to overall male/female and masters (50+). Medals 3-deep in each age group, 13 & Under, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over.
