Ugly Sweater Race is going virtual for 2020!
Whether you want to keep in shape during the holidays or just have some fun, we invite you to virtually join us for a jolly good time! With race options for everyone from one mile up to a half marathon, you can proudly wear your ugliest sweater and complete your race on your own time anytime after Thanksgiving through December 12th. All proceeds from the race will go to the Harrison Bay Friends Group to support the mission of Harrison Bay State Park - we hope that you enjoy the warm fuzzy feelings from your favorite sweater and the fact that you are supporting a great cause!
Swag
- Runners who choose the swag package will get a long-sleeved race shirt & an ornament
- Shirts this year will be red, cotton shirts with green lettering and design
- If you would prefer not to have a shirt, you can opt out during the registration process and the cost of the shirt will be subtracted from your total price (less $12.50)
- If you want to participate in the race, but don't need the swag, you can enter the race as a virtual-only runner for $10 with the discount code DONATION
- All participants and their pets can enter the photo contests for a chance to earn some great prizes from our sponsors
Race Distances
With our virtual format, we will be offering additional race distances for you to choose from including:
- 1 Mile
- 5K (3.1 Miles)
- Virtual Bay Point Loop / "Super 5k" (4.3 Miles)
- 10K (6.2 Miles)
- 15K (9.3 Miles)
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles)
Registration
- Early Bird pricing for our full swag option (ornament + shirt) is $30 for our Christmas in July special
- You can opt out of the shirt option for a reduced price at checkout
- Prices will increase to $35 on 08/01, $40 on 11/17, and to $45 on 12/01 until supplies run out
- Make sure to register by November 16th to guarantee your shirt order
- Registration for our virtual only option is $10

Rules
- Entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE
- We cannot guarantee a shirt in your size for registrations placed after 11/16/2020

- Have fun! (We can't enforce it, but it's a rule anyway!)

Entering your finish time
- Registered participants can begin running this virtual race anytime starting November 27, 2020 at 12:00AM
- All registrants must run their virtual race by 11:59PM on December 12, 2020. After that, time submissions will no longer be posted to the results
- Full results will be published on December 13th at 9:00 AM
- We ask that you abide by the honor code - please no rocket boosters or any other time-altering devices
